The new Federal “Cash for Clunkers” program which allows people to get vouchers for 1984 and newer cars which get bad gas mileage is on. Now BMW has stepped into sweeten the deal, matching the $4500 voucher with their own.
Now through August 31, BMW will give you a $4,500 Eco Credit toward your purchase of a 335d or an X5 xDrive35d. But the savings go beyond this limited-time offer. You’ll also receive a $900 tax credit on the 335d and $1,800 on the X5 xDrive35d.
That can add up to an astonishing $9900 in savings! The top deal is available only on the 33d because the X5 xDrive35d base price exceeds the $45,000, the maximum for the Federal program
